Issue with wild card server name signed cert

Hi SEMS experts!

I am seeing an issue where the desktop client is displaying an error message denoting an invalid certificate. It's similar to the issue pointed out here, but my certificate is from a valid, trusted CA. I suspect the issue might have something to do with me using a wild card cert (e.g.: *.example.com).

Has anyone come across this before?
