key renewal

Hi,

I've noticed key renewal option in SEMS consumer policy settings. Can anybody clarify how it works? For example if I'll give public portion of my key to 3d party and after key renewal process I'll sign message with renewed key, will signature still be valid on his side, or I should send public key each key renewal period?
